I moved to the Springfield Lakes area 9 years ago from the UK. I have been coaching tennis for over 30 years. I have been fortunate to have worked from beginners all the way to top 40 in the world on WTA tour. Before taking over the Aspire tennis company I was running the junior and performance coaching at the Queensland Tennis Centre.

I left there in 2015, to set up my own coaching company to help junior players progress into performance players and play completive tennis.
Tennis has taken me all over the world playing and coaching and given me a great life. I want to give that opportunity to every player that wants it.

Having graduated and played tennis 4 years in an American University, I just settled down in Springfield Lakes.

I am originally from France where I started playing tennis at the age of 4.

I have acquired much experience in playing tennis myself through National, International (ITF & UTR), and US tournaments. I finally represented University of North Dakota where I played at the number 1 and 2 spot for my Senior year in 2021.

I started coaching tennis at the age of 14 in my hometown club in France. I also had a coaching position in Washington DC in between my College Career.

Finally, I recently started working with David at Baseline Tennis Coaching, where I still have a lot to learn from his experience.

Having played tennis from an early age I found I had a talent and drive to compete. I have played all over Australia and have settled in the Springfield Lakes area began coaching with Aspire tennis some 5 years ago.

When Baseline Tennis coaching took over, I was asked if I wanted to remain and keep working. I have had the chance to work with David the Director of Tennis and have learnt a lot from the experience which I am now putting into practice in my coaching week.

I love working with the little ones and seeing them grow with their newly learnt tennis skills.

I am also getting the opportunity to work with the high-performance players helping them get ready for their upcoming tournaments.

Lindsay Baker has been coached by David Gore since 2012, where she developed into a competitive tournament player as a junior and continues to play competitively in Open tournaments. At 16 years old, Lindsay was appointed as the Girls’ Captain for the Queensland Secondary School Sports Tennis team and was recently elected as Secretary of the QUT Tennis Club, where she is currently undertaking studies for a Bachelor of Laws/Bachelor of Fine Arts (Film, TV and Media).

Lindsay first entered into coaching with Baseline Tennis Coaching in 2019 in a volunteer capacity while completing the Service component of her Duke of Edinburgh Award. Shesubsequently joined the Baseline Tennis Coaching team as a casual employee. She holds qualifications as a Community Tennis Coach and has graduated from the Tennis Queensland Future Leaders program, which aimed to improve opportunities for girls to engage in tennis programs.

In addition to her work with Baseline Tennis Coaching, Lindsay has casual employment with her former school, Loreto College, as a tennis coach during the CaSSSA tennis season.

Andrej Jovanovic is a graduate of Corinda State High School and a former member of the CSHS Tennis Excellence program.

Andrej has been coached by David Gore since 2012 and has been a competitive tournament player since 2013. Andrej entered into international competition in 2018 to develop his tennis skills and experience through Junior ITF events around the world, and achieved a career high world ranking of 1200. He returned to Australia in 2019 to work with David Gore with the aim of making the transition to senior ATP events and joining the professional World Tour.
